Grammies: To Watch or Not To Watch...That is the question

I know I'll be watching the Grammies regardless. To me it isn't a celebration of music as many have been trying to spin it as, to me it's a thermometer. The true question is how sick is the industry this year? With R. Kelly's song Sex Planet nominated for Song of the Year and with Fergie scheduled to duet with John Legend (poor John) I'm thinking the temperature is way above 98.6.
