Jay-Z = Bad for Hip-Hop?


Kye over at NobodySmiling.com thinks Jay just might have over extended his welcome. I can't say I agree, but it's an interesting thought. It's no secret that Sean Carter has evolved from a corner dope dealer cum rapper into a one man multi-media monster, but is that a bad thing or good thing for Hip-Hop? In a time when financial profits for the Hip-Hop genre are dwindling at an alarming rate, I'd think Jay is more of a pioneer regarding finding new ways to produce extra dollars and less of an obstacle.
